I first published this website over 6 years ago, and did so because it made me feel closer to him in a spiritual way.

I've enjoyed seeing people come from more than 48 different countries, literally all 4 corners of the earth to find out about Stevie and his awesome group Double Trouble. The information, personal feelings, and photo's available at Tommy Shannon's website are phenominal.

The way that Stevie's music makes me feel and the strange emptiness and loss I feel for a real friend I've never even met are so difficult to explain.

I have often wondered how someone I don't know, and Never met ..... can have such power.

I think that is what makes music itself such an incredible thing (the message) and those who master it such interesting people.

Stevie was so giving, understanding, respectful, and ALWAYS gave credit to everyone who's music inspired Him to do a version in "His" way.

Stevie didn't simply play music, he BECAME music. He showed us that playing the guitar was not about the flash or speed or pedal effects, it was about closing your eyes and letting go and allowing your heart and soul to complete the circuit with your hands.

We all seem to share a common bond. Stevie's soul LIVES ON .... in ALL who are touched by his music. His death was the greatest tragedy to Family, Friends, and Fans to EVER befall the music world.

I just know that somewhere out there ........ Stevie is still playing his heart out (and with very good company) for the angels, and Anyone else that can close their eyes and "FEEL" life's convictions.
